The internet is typically a pretty big bummerparty. In an attempt to combat that digital negativity/make my friends laugh, I created Emergency Compliment a couple of years ago. It’s meant as a little safe haven on the world wide web — offering users as much weird adulation as it takes to get a
on their face.
It ended up becoming a book that was sold at an incredibly prestigious literary establistment (Urban Outfitters) and I got to nervously discuss the project on NPR.
