For the past two years, civic leaders from around the world have gathered in Chicago for the Obama Foundation Summit. The theme for the 2018 summit was Common Hope, Uncommon Stories.
Shamus Eaton and I creative directed the summit's main video that was used to welcome the attendees as well as educate the public. We portrayed individuals united in a common goal by combing through the Obama Foundation archives and juxtaposing dozens of shots featuring real community leaders.
Our creative intention was to pay respect to individual changemakers attending the conference while acknowledging the inspiring, universal goal they are collectively working towards.
